An online commonplace book
There’s many Einsteins out there. Einstein Bagels, Salesforce Einstein, IBM Einstein, wait no, that’s Watson.
Ok, either way, these Einstein companies want you to feel smart when you use their products. But how many of these Einsteins look smart?
Hard to top Einstein Moving Co’s logo. Clear black and white shapes against what I call “Texas Orange” is noticeable from anywhere in the street.
The logo certainly lives up to the Einstein Moving Co. tagline: “Smart Move”
Greeting friends!
Starting tomorrow we’re beginning a new project, Graphic Design In the Wild.
The goal? Capture a piece of graphic design in the physical world, for each day of April.
The two criteria for a daily piece are these:
1. The piece exists in the physical world. We can hold it, touch it.
2. The piece catches our eye.
I’ve wanted to do a project like this for a while, but fear and complacency have held me back.
Sometimes you have to leap.
